Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Learn about support during perimenopause and menopause as well as thyroid care

Perimenopause + Menopause Care

If you are a female over the age of 40 and no one has talked to you about your hormonal health – we will be that person for you. The average age of menopause is 51 but ranges from 45-55. Perimenopause starts 7-10 years before that. You need to understand what is going to happen, why it is happening and what can be done to promote healthy aging moving forward.

We know Perimenopause is associated with over 60 symptoms. Knowing what these are allows you to get the support you need if they come up. Your 40’s do not have to be overwhelming, anxiety riddled, suffering from insomnia with you questioning what is happening.

In Menopause care we are looking to help you age as gracefully as we can. Here we are considering cardiovascular function, muscle health, brain health + cognition, bone health and preventing frailty. We make it easy to understand.

You are supported with education, appropriate monitoring blood work, and the right to a fully informed discussion on Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)

Hormone Replacement Therapy is always discussed as an option to support you; however it is not mandatory. This is the replacement of estrogen (patch or topical application) and progesterone (oral micronized progesterone) to mimic levels your body once had.

Thyroid Care

Your thyroid gland is a bit of a master gland for your body. This means it can have a wide range of health impacts on you and how you feel day to day. Your thyroid can be making too much hormone (hyperthyroid) or too little (hypothyroid) and this can be because it doesn’t have the right building blocks to make those hormones or something is blocking them from being made. We take the guess work out of you trying to figure out what is going on to get you back to feeling like yourself

Common signs something with your thyroid might be wrong:

  • Fatigue
  • Changes to your hair, skin or nails
  • Weight changes or metabolic concerns
  • Trouble regulating your body temperature
  • Joint pain or achy muscles
  • Issues with brain fog, memory or thinking
  • Hoarse voice or a sore throat
  • Issues with constipation
